MUI NE (BINH THUAN) – SUB-SAHARA DESERT OF VIETNAM

Known as the land where the sun and the wind take turns reigning. Mui Ne (Binh Thuan) possesses a relatively harsh climate of the south central coast, but that harshness has created for Mui Ne extremely diverse and unique natural landscapes that are rarely found elsewhere in Vietnam. The long stretches of white sand beaches, the wind-blown fields on the hillsides, the endless sand dunes are likened to the miniature Sahara of fertile Southeast Asia. Those are the highlights that attract travelers around the world to Mui Ne

In addition to the special natural landscape, the cuisine is also a “magnetic” attracting tourists to this land. The cuisine of Mui Ne in particular or Binh Thuan in general bears the imprint of the South Central Coast of Vietnam with dishes made from seafood such as fish, shrimp, squid, etc. Not only seafood, Mui Ne is also the intersection between the South Central region and the Southeast region of Vietnam. Therefore, Mui Ne cuisine is the perfect intersection between the North and the South, giving this land a culinary beauty that is unique and different from the rest of Vietnam.
