(Sakima Homestay/ Kon Tum, Vietnam)
Sakima Homestay is located in the province of Kon Tum in central Vietnam’s highlands, about 30 km outside the main city of Kon Tum. The small village it is located in an area where most people are from minority groups, and the largest production in the area is agriculture, where coffee, rubber wood, rice, etc. are produced. The landscape is mountains and valleys broken by small rivers and streams. When staying at Sakima homestay, various activities are included, such as trekking in the national park up to a waterfall, a visit to a large local family-owned farm, a visit to a minority village, as well as communal cooking.
Soon we will start a storyline about the process of the construction and renovation of the homestay that is set to have its grand opening in July 2023.
